Online shop terms
Version of October 17, 2026
1. Purpose
Boutik's online shop lets a merchant publish a shop window for their shop and, once the feature opens, receive orders through it. It is published by Algorithme. It is offered to accounts that back up their shop over the Internet, during the trial and with a pass; without an active pass, the shop window stops taking orders and resumes by itself on renewal.
2. What the merchant publishes
The merchant alone is responsible for what they publish: names, descriptions, photos, prices, delivery terms. They guarantee they have the right to use the photos and that the products shown may be sold lawfully in their country and in their customers' country.
Prohibited in particular: weapons, drugs, medicines, counterfeits, stolen goods, protected species, pornographic or hateful content, and any misleading offer.
3. Who sells
The sale is made between the shop and its customer. Algorithme is neither seller, nor payment intermediary, nor carrier: Boutik displays the shop window and passes orders on. Prices are the merchant's. The “In stock” label is computed from the shop's latest backup; only the shop's confirmation commits it to the customer.
4. No payment through Boutik
The customer pays the shop directly, as they agree. Any delivery fees are settled between them.
5. Reports and suspension
Anyone can report a shop window. Algorithme may suspend, without notice, a shop window that is reported or plainly contrary to these terms or to the law; it then reads “not taking orders at the moment”. The merchant may write to support. A suspension erases none of the shop's data. After repeated breaches, Algorithme may permanently close access to the online shop for that account.
6. Shop window link
The merchant chooses the name of their link, among the names still free. Algorithme may withdraw a misleading name or one that uses a third party's brand. After a rename, the old link points to the new one for 90 days, then stops working (including on QR codes already printed).
7. Availability
Algorithme does its best to keep the shop window available, without any guarantee of permanent availability. An outage never prevents the merchant from selling at the counter with Boutik.
8. Personal data
What the shop window publishes and what we keep about visitors and reports is described in the privacy policy.
9. Changes
These terms may change; the version in force is the one published on this page, with its date.
